Most memorable work moment
My first assignment was capturing an equine fair within a virtual reality film for Supporters Day. The entire experience was enriching.
Best part of your job
Travelling to rural India, which is the heart of our country. Also getting to work with a young and dynamic team which loves to “disrupt the normal".
How did you get your job?
I applied for the position through a job portal. Before joining Brooke India, I was a fellow in Genpact and Edelweiss’ joint philanthropy programme and was working closely with the Education Department of the State of Punjab to improve the learning outcomes in government primary schools. Before this, I worked for a skill development company, implementing a skill development programme in government schools across 13 states under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, an initiative to impart skill education at an early age. I have also worked in the good governance and anti-corruption themes while being with Transparency International India and UN Global Compact India. I was part of the consultation process of Public Procurement Bill, National Sports Development Bill and Indian Companies Act 2011.
