Yesterday Pakistan was hit by shock waves from an earthquake which started in Afghanistan. We bring you another update from our team in Pakistan.

Tragically, there have been around 250 people pronounced dead, with a further 1,629 injured. The Pakistan army has been deployed to conduct emergency rescue work in remote areas and the Pakistan Red Crescent has also dispatched its disaster response team to affected areas. Aftershocks have also been reported in some areas.

As reported yesterday on our Facebook page, the Brooke team is safe and sound. We will continue to monitor the situation and bring you updates when we have them.
