Expression of Interest for Consultant Farrier Trainer
We are looking for someone with a passion for training farriers to support our dedicated global farriery project. The aim of this project is to improve the welfare of working equids by supporting sustainable improvements within the industry across the globe. Farriery as a profession is often underdeveloped in the countries in which Brooke works. As a result farriers do not have adequate training or access to tools and resources to provide a satisfactory level of service. This consultant role is to teach, train and mentor a selected pool of farriers across Africa, Asia and Latin America. The goal is to develop these selected farriers into competent farrier trainers through a sustainable ‘trainer of trainers’ approach.
Brooke will be hosting an Open Farrier afternoon on Tuesday 18 June from 1.30pm onwards at Brooke’s London office, Friars Bridge Court, 41-45 Blackfriars Rd, South Bank, London SE1 8NZ.
