Senior Community Fundraising Officer

We are looking for an experienced community fundraiser to join our growing team at an exciting time for Brooke.

Responsible for the development, management and delivery of a portfolio of community fundraising activities the successful candidate will have proven experience of increasing net income, superb communication skills and be a confident marketer with a passion for digital.

The post holder will work closely with the Community and Corporate Fundraising Manager to enhance and implement the Community Fundraising Strategy, including leading on delivering, reporting and evaluating the current DIY and In Celebration fundraising portfolio as well as identifying new community fundraising opportunities. Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer (High Value Supporters) (Part Time)

The role sits within our ambitious Philanthropy & Partnerships Team. The Team is responsible for raising income in the UK from high net worth individuals (HNWIs), charitable trusts and grant-makers to generate income in line with Brooke’s five-year fundraising strategy to support our international programmes.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Officer (High Value Supporters) will build excellent and profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with a diverse portfolio of high value supporters who make gifts between £1,000 and £10,000. The Officer will also identify and provide prospects for the Team’s Major Value Individual and Trusts portfolios.

The role will test and develop a range of traditional and new marketing techniques, appeals and approaches and will complement these with cultivation and stewardship activities, learning what works and adapting the programme accordingly.

The role will liaise with the wider Fundraising and Communications and Programmes Departments to explore opportunities for cross-selling and maximising fundraising opportunities. Closing date 3 April 2018

Supporter Administration Assistant (4 or 5 days)

You will work as part of a busy Donations and Fulfilment team, underpinning the recruitment and retention of Brooke’s supporters and donors through the provision of a high level administration service.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors to Brooke and manage the switchboard.

You will need to have excellent attention to detail ensuring you meet the exacting standards required in the processing and thanking of our supporters’ generous donations.

You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, sharing information where appropriate and contributing towards a positive team culture by engaging with and supporting others. Closing date 5 April 2018.
