Aragie is a chartered certified accountant with an MBA. He joined Brooke in 2019, and became Global Chief Financial Officer in 2025.

Aragie oversees Brooke’s strategic and operational financial planning. He provides insights to support the leadership team and the Brooke Board of Trustees make business decisions.

Before Brooke, Aragie worked for other animal welfare charities for 10 years. Including six years at SPANA and over two years at Compassion in World Farming.

Aragie started his career as an external auditor. He managed audits across different sectors, gaining significant experience. This broad exposure has helped Aragie build strong relationships across our country programmes.
