Patrick Mulford
Meet our trustee Patrick Mulford, who brings two decades of experience from the tech, digital and social media sectors - as well as a childhood love of ponies - to his work at Brooke.

Patrick is a business leader with 20 years of experience in the technology, digital marketing and social media spheres. As a CEO and a strategic advisor within these industries, he specialises in helping organisations build effective and efficient processes and cultures.
Pivotal in the success of three pioneering digital agencies in the UK, US and Dubai, Patrick has an international presence and has worked with global brands including Adidas, BMW, Disney, Ford, Nike, Lush, Starbucks, The Times and Universal.
Currently the CEO of Clock, a technology and marketing innovation company that specialises in digital transformation and the development of engagement platforms for high-profile clients in the video gaming, entertainment, automobile and publishing industries, he brings a wealth of experience in a wide range of areas. This includes expertise in brand and digital strategy, AI and emerging technologies, pitching, presenting and speaking, and celebrity and influencer marketing.
Explaining his decision to support our mission at Brooke and become a trustee, Patrick explains: "Horses, donkeys and mules remind us that we can have a truly symbiotic relationship with other animals. That’s why I’m so committed to Brooke’s work."
They work alongside us, support us and deserve dignity in return.
Patrick's comittment to the welfare of horses, donkeys and mules also has links to fond childhood memories. He says: "As a child, growing up on the edge of town, the ponies in the fields around my house were my window into the animal world."
They taught me how to relate to animals, and to build a connection and understanding with creatures that are larger and more powerful than ourselves.
On what he brings to Brooke as a trustee, Patrick adds: "I help shape our strategy and governance to ensure that we remain effective not only in our mission to protect and improve the lives of working equines, but also in supporting the communities who depend on them.
"The future may be uncertain, and there are many reasons to be concerned, but the success stories we see at Brooke – of lives transformed and suffering alleviated – are reasons for hope."
