12-year-old raises £1k for Brooke in Snowdon climb
Rosie's late grandfather had a keen interest in Brooke’s work.
A 12-year-old and her mum from Oxfordshire have raised over £1,000 for Brooke, after climbing Snowdon this summer.
Rosie (12) and Vicky Trietline from Wantage trekked Snowdon in north Wales on 26 August 2025, with fundraising proceeds going to charity.
Brooke is close to the pair’s heart, as active members of the Old Berkshire Pony Club’s horse and pony care team and because they also visited some of our work in Egypt.
Vicky Trietline said: “Rosie’s late grandfather also had a keen interest in Brooke’s work, and we adopted a donkey at a local sanctuary in his memory.
“He would be so proud of Rosie’s initiative in raising over £1,000 for Brooke.”
