Tessema's story
Tessema used to worry about how to best support his animals. “Good feed provision, shelter and a lack of hoof care were the main problems,” he told us.
But thanks to training from Brooke Ethiopia, he’s now learnt what and when to feed his horses Bora, Guracha and Dama, and how to prevent and treat any injuries they might get.
Tessema is now a Brooke Welfare Champion, earning a good living taking care of local horses, and is training his children in the same trade!
