Equestrian YouTuber to hack 100 miles for Brooke

All riders are invited alongside This Esme to hack 100 miles over 100 days for Brooke.

Equestrian YouTuber This Esme will hack 100 miles this summer for Brooke, helping to provide water for over 10,000 donkeys and their owners in Kenya.

All riders are invited alongside This Esme to hack 100 miles over 100 days and raise £100 for Brooke, with all funds improving water access in the country, reducing the strain on people and animals.

The “Hack100” project will halve the distance that families and donkeys must travel for water in Kenya, which is critical to their community’s survival.

Access to clean water is a lifeline for both the donkeys and the people who depend on them in Kenya.

Chris Wainwright, CEO of Brooke

Chris Wainwright, CEO of Brooke, said: “Hack100 offers a chance to make a real difference, not just for these incredible animals, but for the families who rely on them.

“It’s a powerful reminder that something as simple as water can change everything - and with your help, we can bring that change to those who need it most.”

Hack100 aims to raise £25,000 towards Kenya’s water points, with riders able to complete the challenge between May and August 2025.

Giving communities access to water points also provides greater opportunities for people, especially women and children, to spend more time on education, food production and other essential tasks.

Brooke will also send branded prizes to participants once their fundraising page receives its first donation, including the chance to win up to £350 towards a helmet from leading equestrian brand, Charles Owen.
