Deliver hope to working animals this Christmas

Donate today to deliver water, food, shelter and care to animals struggling under heavy loads.

Across the world, horses, donkeys and mules work tirelessly, transporting people and goods in the toughest conditions — from coal mines in Pakistan to brick kilns in Senegal.

In Pakistan’s coal mines, donkeys often work 8 to 10 hours a day underground, carrying loads of up to 100 kg. In Senegal, they supply water daily to over 400,000 farmed animals. And in brick kilns, these animals endure extreme heat and heavy labour with little rest.

For these working animals, there’s no time off at Christmas.

With your help, we can deliver vital food, water and shelter to improve their lives and ease their burden.

How Brooke helps
Amos and a donkey stand together

In the harsh conditions of the Tanzanian gold mines, donkeys die from injuries and illnesses that are preventable or simple to treat.

Amos is the chair of a group at the Magenge gold mine and owns five donkeys.

Thanks to Brooke, Amos now understands donkeys’ needs much better and is developing deep connections with them.

“I serve them food and water and when I call they come. We have become friends,” he says.
