Padmapriya T S has more than 23 years of leadership experience in international development.
Her expertise spans strategic planning, operations and grants management, policy development, and internal controls, with a strong focus on the non-profit sector.
She has served in top management roles at renowned organisations such as CARE, Save the Children UK, University of Washington I-TECH, and the British Council.
A qualified cost and management accountant with an MBA in Human Resources, she also holds a professional degree in Global Health Management.
Padmapriya is the Chief Executive of Sanitation First and founder of Aalayam Kanden Trust, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness about lesser-known heritage sites in India.
Having grown up in the hilly terrains and military bases of India, seeing horses and mules...has always been something close to my heart.
Padmipriya has a personal connection to horses, donkeys and mules, explaining: "I feel connected to their cause and of those communities that are dependent on them.
"More and more people are getting involved in animal welfare and this needs to extend beyond pets or wild animals, to working animals, who are truly the vulnerable and underprivileged."
