Chairman: Major General Peter Davies CBPeter has a strong sense of the Brooke’s work as a result of his extensive experience working for a number of high profile animal charities. He was Director General for the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) and the RSPCA, where he served for 11 years. He has also held many voluntary posts at other charities including Eurogroup for Animal Welfare, Animals in War Memorial Fund and Flora and Fauna. Peter joined the Brooke as Chairman in 2009. |

Sir Robin ChristopherA British diplomat, Sir Robin was an ambassador to Argentina, Indonesia, Ethiopia and Eritrea before retiring in 2004. He is also trustee of Partners for Change Ethiopia , Prospect Burma and Redress and Project Director of the Global Leadership Foundation (GLF). Sir Robin joined the Brooke as a Trustee in 2005. He is a member of the Governance Committee and a board member of Brooke India. |

Peter CoePeter has held a number of senior management and board director posts with responsibility for veterinary medicines. He has focused on strategic planning, organisational development and managing change and is a past Chairman of the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. Peter joined the Brooke as a Trustee in April 2008. He is a member of the Finance Committee and a board member of Brooke Pakistan. |

Paul ElphickPaul has a background in finance mainly in the commercial sector, having worked for many organizations across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, as well as Europe and the United States. An independent executive director for the past 20 years, he is also a former Finance Director with the Royal College of Physicians. Paul joined the board of trustees in 2011. He is the Honorary Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee. |

Ian KerrSince co-founding the international development charity ActionAid in 1972, Ian has worked extensively in the charity sector and is one of the UK’s leading capital appeal fundraisers. He has been involved with over 30 major appeals, trained over 100 fundraisers and led one of the UK’s largest fundraising consultancies. A former fellow of the British Institute of Management, Institute of Financial Accountants and the Institute of Fundraising, Ian is passionate about wildlife conservation and the welfare of animals. He joined the Brooke as a Trustee in September 2011. |

Sir David MaddenSir David is a retired British diplomat. Ambassador to Greece between 1999 and 2004, he has held various roles in many countries. Sir David joined the Brooke as a Trustee in April 2008. He is a member of the Finance Committee and has a role working with the board of Brooke Egypt.

Patrick RodierPatrick has practised law in London and Hong Kong. His expertise has focused on corporate and company law, joint ventures, strategic alliances and investment. His charitable experience includes volunteering as a Trustee for the Friends of the Tate Gallery and working for the Royal Albert Hall, University of Greenwich, British Board of Agrément (BBA) and the Incorporated Society of Musicians. Patrick joined the Brooke as a Trustee in 2003. He is a member of the Governance Committee and a board member of Brooke Netherlands. |

Stephen SavageStephen has been a barrister since 1979 and has held a range of legal and senior posts in the justice system. He was Chairman of Kent Criminal Justice Board and was seconded by the Ministry of Justice in the UK to Romania. In 2007, he volunteered in Zimbabwe, working on local community and animal welfare projects. Stephen joined the Brooke as a Trustee in April 2008. He is Deputy Chairman and chairs the Governance Committee. He is also a board member of Brooke India. |

Michael SetonMichael is a veterinarian by training with considerable experience working both in the UK and abroad. Currently Veterinary Officer for the Corporation of London, he spent his early career working in Oman and Swaziland. A former President of the Veterinary Public Health Association, Michael is a member of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, British Veterinary Association and the British Veterinary Zoological Society. He joined the Brooke as a Trustee in September 2011. |

Anant ShahAnant was a banker until he retired in 2000 to focus his time and energy on charitable and social work. To that end, he has worked with a number of charities in the UK as a Trustee or Adviser; these charities operate mainly in East Africa and India. He is passionate about the welfare of animals and the alleviation of their suffering. He joined the Brooke as a Trustee in September 2012.

Caroline StockmannCaroline Stockmann is the Chief Financial Officer of Save the Children International, the charity which delivers international programmes for the Save the Children membership. Caroline’s previous roles have included acting International Director at Sue Ryder Care, Finance and Commercial Director at Southbank Centre, London, Head of Global Business Planning for Novartis Pharma AG and CFO/CIO of Unilever Thailand. Caroline trained and qualified with KPMG, and holds a Diploma in Charity Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
