The Brooke understands the importance of working partnerships to help us achieve our mission. Whether your company is a small or medium enterprise (SME), a family-run business or a large commercial operation, there are many different ways for you to get involved.
Charity of the Year
If your company operates a Charity of the Year scheme, why not think about nominating the Brooke? Our dedicated corporate team have lots of great ideas about how to get employees and clients involved.
Are you looking for new and innovative ways to expand your customer base? Why not become a sponsor of one of the many events the Brooke hosts across the year.
Cause related marketing
Around 3.6 million people in the UK donate to animal welfare charities, so what better way to promote your brand than with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) partnership with the Brooke. We have a committed and professional marketing and development team to support your partnership and help your company to get increased exposure to maximise the benefits of working with our charity.
Gifts in kind
Does your company have a venue or space that the Brooke can use to host one of its events or for staff training? This could be a small restaurant, a large hotel or even one of your office meeting rooms. A gift in kind is a great way to help support the Brooke while also showing your staff and clients that you are is committed to helping a very worthwhile cause. Giving through your payroll
Payroll Giving or Give As You Earn is a tax-free and easy way for employees to make a regular donation to the Brooke. Gifts are deducted straight from your gross salary, giving immediate tax relief. So, if you choose to donate £10 a month to the Brooke via Payroll Giving, it will only cost you £8.00 if you are a basic rate taxpayer, and even less if you are a higher rate taxpayer
Employers: setting up Give as You Earn (GAYE) is easier than you think
- All you need to do is register with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA) approved by the Inland Revenue (link opens in new window).
- Once you are registered, all you need to do is send on payroll giving forms you receive from your employees to your PGA and they will do the rest. The PGA is responsible for adding the tax onto a donor's gift and transferring the total sum to the donor's nominated charity.
Our team will be able to assist you in setting-up and promoting the scheme to your employees; please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
