The Brooke plans high-profile events throughout the year to influence positive welfare improvements for working horses, donkeys and mules.
The expert meeting ‘Alleviating poverty through working equine welfare’ , brought together institutions and sector specialists to discuss how to increase impact by working more closely with international development organisations. The event was chaired by Dr Andrea Gavinelli of the European Commission.
