Working for the Brooke
Brooke employees and supporters are keenly motivated by our unique approach to addressing a crucial international cause. We successfully combine international development with practical animal welfare, to provide a long-lasting and sustainable impact on the communities we support.
We are always looking for talented and passionate individuals to join us in our London office.
Our goal is to increase the number of working animals we reach every year to 2 million suffering horses, donkeys and mules in the most need in the developing world by 2016.
Whether you are working directly with our Country Programmes or supporting others to do so, you will be contributing to this goal to make a real difference.
VACANCIES IN OUR 'PLANNING & PERFORMANCE' DIRECTORATE
This Spring, the Brooke will launch its ambitious new five-year global strategy following a sustained period of outstanding growth in improving the health and wellbeing of working horses, donkeys and mules across the world. We have achieved this by engaging effectively with communities for better welfare, treatment and veterinary services and through the successful lobbying of key global players to change policy and practice for the mutual benefit of both the animals and their owners – the millions of people whose livelihoods depend on them. We are now actively recruiting for talented individuals who can bring their professional expertise to a growing organisation which prides itself on being a leading animal welfare INGO operating across a growing number of countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
As part of the global ambition of the Brooke, a new Planning & Performance directorate is being established.
