Viral farrier Sam Dracott joins Brooke as new ambassador
Sam will help raise awareness of the vital role good hoof care plays in the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules around the world.

Known to millions online for his hoof care and farriery videos, Sam Draycott will help Brooke raise awareness of the vital role good hoof care plays in the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules around the world.
As a professional farrier, Sam has built a large and highly engaged audience by sharing accessible, educational and often “oddly satisfying” insights into his day-to-day work. His videos have helped introduce farriery to people who may never have seen hoof trimming or shoeing before.
A video of Sam cleaning and trimming a horse’s hoof was reported by Horse & Hound as the most-watched UK TikTok upload of 2022, gaining more than 273 million views. Sam has said his aim is to educate the wider public about farriery and its role in horse welfare.
The new partnership with Brooke will help bring educational and positive animal welfare messages to a wider equine, veterinary, and mainstream audience, leveraging his professional experience and online reach to highlight a welfare issue that is often overlooked.
Brooke promotes effective hoof care as essential for the welfare and working ability of working horses, donkeys and mules, supporting these animals in global communities in Africa, Latin America, India and Pakistan. Hoof problems and lameness are among the most common welfare issues affecting these sensitive animals, causing pain, reducing mobility and limiting their ability to support the people and communities who rely on them.
Through its farriery work, Brooke supports sustainable, locally available services by training and mentoring farriers, strengthening professional standards, working with communities and collaborating with institutions and governments. Brooke's Global Farriery Programme aims to improve hoof care and help farriery become a recognised, respected and properly supported profession worldwide.
