New! Autumn Winter Craft Pack 2026
As the evenings grow darker and the craft supplies come out, we're delighted to introduce our brand new Autumn Winter Craft Pack, packed with knitting and crochet patterns to keep your hands busy and your heart warm throughout the season.
Inside, you'll find patterns for Bramble the horse, festive knitted and crocheted decorations, a charming knitted pumpkin, plus bonus colouring and clay craft activities for even more creative inspiration.
Available in both digital and printed formats, the pack is available for a suggested donation of £10. This helps to continue our vital work to end the suffering of working horses, donkeys, and mules around the world.

Every year we create two themed Craft Packs, filled with patterns and ideas to inspire your next project.
In march, we launched a pack which celebrates the Lunar Year of the Horse, and includes a beautiful collection of knitting, crochet and felt patterns inspired by these incredible animals. This pack is still available to request, and we recommend a donation of £5.

Send your crafted items to Brooke
If running a stall isn’t possible, you can still make a big difference by sending your creations directly to us. We’ll pass them on to our wonderful network of Brooke fundraising groups and volunteers across the country, who are always glad to feature handmade items on their stalls.

Your crafting can change lives
One of our most dedicated crafters, Louise Brown, joint‑leader of the London & West Kent Brooke Supporter Group and pictured above (left), has shown the astonishing impact creativity can have. She explains:
“Back in 2010, I was doing a street collection for Brooke when an elderly lady asked if I’d like her to knit some donkeys to sell. Over the next few years, she knitted around 250 donkeys for me...I decided to teach myself to knit and I’ve never looked back. I ended up raising £40,000 for Brooke, with the help of fellow crafters!”
