Photo Competition

A huge thank you everyone who donated and entered our inaugural photo competition in 2019 to raise money for Brooke. We have been amazed by your talent and thanks to your generosity, we have raised close to £3,000 for working horses, donkeys and mules and the communities that depend on them.

Judges Matthew Seed, Gemma Tattersall and Deborah Meaden

The Results

After much deliberation, our expert judging panel consisting of Matthew Seed (leading photographer of equine portraits), Gemma Tattersall (British Olympic rider) and Deborah Meaden (Dragons’ Den investor and successful entrepreneur) chose two winners from over 230 entries.

We are so pleased to announce that the winners are…

Camera Entry:

"Wild Stance" by Ian Knight

Smartphone Entry:

"Amigo!" by Lucy Steele

“This photo is atmospheric, it has a beauty about it, with bands of density going back into the mist. We all had an instant positive reaction that stayed with us as we deliberated.”
