Richard Britten-Long

Richard joined Brooke as a Trustee in 2013. He is a member of the Finance Committee and the Africa Liaison Group. He is also a Director of Brooke East Africa.

Born in Kenya, with which he maintains close connection and dual nationality, he has been involved with game conservation projects his whole life. His own family ranching estate is now Nakuru National Park. He is passionate about horses in particular.

Richard has been involved with structured property finance and various investment property companies since the 1980s. He started life in the City.

He founded The Wichford plc Group. He is currently Chairman of Kenswick Capital Management Limited and a director of St Paul's Property Trust plc.

He is a vice president of Cirencester Park Polo Club and a steward of the Hurlingham Polo Association, serving as Chairman of the International Committee. During his polo career he has been instrumental in raising substantial sums for various charities over a number of years.
