She has worked in the international charity sector since 2003 and was previously Finance Director at Sightsavers International.
Petra has recently retired from her role as a Trustee of The Resource Alliance, a not-for-profit organisation, whose mission is to help voluntary sector leaders worldwide acquire the tools to build the financial sustainability of civil society.

When not travelling overseas she enjoys spending time with her three horses and regularly organises training or competing at equestrian events.
