The Brooke's Small Grants Initiative
| Organisations that work in countries where the Brooke doesn't can apply for a grant through our small grants initiatives. |
|
| The Brooke works in eleven countries across the developing world to relieve the pain and suffering of hundreds of thousands of sick and injured working horses, donkeys and mules.
We also work with communities who depend on these animals. We do this because we not only want to help their animals in the short-term, but we also want them to use the knowledge we pass on so that they can better care for their animals and prevent future injuries or sickness. That way they won’t always depend on us for help. | | | |
| We can help you to help others
Of course, we aren’t yet in the position where we can be there for all the working animals in the world who need help. We now reach 800,000 working animals every year across eleven countries, but what about the animals outside of our reach?
We want to be able to assist organisations to make a difference to the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules in developing countries - other than those where we currently work. Organisations that have developed and want to implement creative and effective ways of improving the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules in these regions can apply to receive a small grant through the Brooke's Small Grants Initiative scheme. |
