Dog Sledding in the Land of the Midnight Sun

Set yourself a challenge for 2011 and take part in the ultimate winter experience!

Raise vital funds for the Brooke by taking part in this once in a lifetime experience, which will see you sledding over 200 kilometres from base camp into the wilds of the most northern country in Europe, Norway.

In this odyssey of ice the teamwork between human and dog means the difference between life and death. Participants will need to go right back to basics and will be reminded of the simple truths of life as a result of their experiences.Huskie Trek  © Across the Divide


Two huskies resting  © Across the DivideThe nature of the event means that it is run with a relatively small number of participants (13 maximum). Each participant will have his or her own sled, pulled by four to six huskies. The expedition is headed up by a leader, doctor and a local guide.

Prepare to be amazed at spectacular and unforgettable sights, ranging from beautiful frozen lakes to the world famous Northern Lights.
