Giving through your payroll

Payroll Giving (also known as “Give As You Earn”) is a tax-free and easy way for employees to make a regular donation to the Brooke.

Benefits to you

·         Gifts are deducted straight from their gross salary, giving immediate tax relief.  So, if you choose to donate £10 a month to The Brooke via Payroll Giving, it will only cost you £7.80 if you are a basic rate taxpayer, and even less if you are a higher rate taxpayer.

·         From January 2005 the Payroll Giving Grants programme rewards small and medium sized enterprises that set up Payroll Giving with a one-off grant of up to £500.

·         Furthermore, the programme will match pound-for-pound, the first £10 of each employee’s monthly donations for a period of six months.

·         PAYE facilitates enthusiasm and motivation amongst employees encouraging team building encouraging staff retention and recruitment of employees.

·         Supporting the Brooke through PAYE improves the organisation’s public image.
