 | | | An economist by training, Cecilia gained most of her practical experience in the field of project evaluation and development when she lived and worked in sub-Saharan Africa. Her work as a consultant has also taken her to Haiti, India and Sri Lanka, and she helped to run training programmes in investment appraisal for bank staff in Estonia, Latvia, Macedonia and Tanzania.
Involved with the Brooke as a supporter since 2003, Cecilia participated in a field study to develop weigh-tapes for working horses in Pakistan in 2007. She became a Trustee in April 2008 and is currently a member of the Finance Committee and a board member of both Brooke India and Brooke Pakistan.
