 | | | Dr David Jones is a veterinarian and zoologist by training. He was previously CEO of the Zoological Society of London and has spent his entire career, approaching 40 years, in the wildlife and zoo management field.
Currently he is the Director of the North Carolina Zoological Park in the USA. He has worked in more than 50 countries, mainly in Africa and the Middle East. He has been on the Councils of both World Wildlife Fund U.S. and U.K. and was a former Chairman of Fauna and Flora International.
David has been a Trustee of the Brooke for over 35 years, serving as Vice Chairman (1973-1990) and Chairman for 10 years. He is a member of the Governance Committee and Chair of American Friends of the Brooke.
