Fred OchiengFred Ochieng

Fred is the team leader of the KENDAT/Brooke partnership project “Heshimu Punda”. An engineering graduate, Fred is currently studying for an MA. Amongst his qualifications is a postgraduate module in Draught Animal Power. Fred loves animals and feels that the Welfare Assessment is a vital part of his work: “With what I know now I can’t imagine trying to find solutions to animal welfare problems without using Welfare Assessments!”

 

Hellen Atieno

Hellen joined the KENDAT/Brooke programme in 2006 as a Community Development Officer. She joined the Welfare Assessment team in 2007. With an arts background and qualifications in sociology, literature and linguistics, being part of the Welfare Assessment team has given her a good understanding of animal welfare.

Kirui Gilbert

Kirui has been working with the KENDAT/Brooke partnership project as a Veterinary Surgeon and joined the Welfare Assessment team in 2007.
