The Brooke was very excited to be chosen as the charity of the year at the UK’s first-ever Holistic Horse Show held at Unex Towerlands in Essex, on 24 - 26 October 2008.
The Holistic Horse Show kindly made a donation to the Brooke for every ticket bought in advance by Brooke supporters.
With its Holistic Horse Shopping Mall, performance arena therapy centre and breath-taking demonstrations from some of the UK’s leading equestrian experts; the show contained something for every kind of horse lover!
The Brooke stall was also a great success and proved to be a fantastic way to raise awareness of the Brooke's dedication to improving the lives of horses and donkeys working hard in the poorest parts of the world.
